Natalie

Natalie Natalie grew up in Janesville, MN. She attended Aveda Institute in the Twin Cities to become a professional stylist. After graduating, she moved to Mankato, MN and lived there for several years before moving to Madison, WI in September of 2008 to be with Matt. She currently works at Rejuvenation Salon and Spa in Madison and lives with her oldest sister Jen. She loves to return home to visit her family, including her nephew and niece, Matthew and Claire.

Matt

Matt Matt grew up in Eden Prairie, MN, about an hour from Natalie's hometown of Janesville, MN. He attended Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, MN and graduated with a B.A. in Physics. He moved to Madison, WI to pursue a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, focusing on plasmas. He currently teaches classes and is conducting research for his thesis. He hopes to graduate in two to three years.

How did they meet?

The First Picture Matt and Natalie met on a blind date (or at least it was blind for one of them) on February 22nd, 2007. Matt's college roomate, Drew Wisner had just started dating Sarah Miller, a client of Natalie's at Liv Aveda in Mankato. Matt had met Sarah once when he was visiting Drew while back in Minnesota, and she mentioned Matt to Natalie while getting her hair done. A blind date was arranged at Drew's house, and two and a half years later they're getting married.
